About
Who are We?
Welcome to Catalyzing Change, LLC, the catalyst for meaningful transformation. We are a woman-led, equity-focused organization development (OD) and change management firm. Our specialization lies in improving the outcomes of individuals, teams, and organizations, co-powering with them to unlock impactful, equitable, and enduring change. We are here to guide you on this transformative journey, helping you to unlock your catalyst within.
Why Do We Exist?
At Catalyzing Change, we believe that we each have a unique and powerful gift to share with the world, and our environment can either facilitate or impede the cultivation of these gifts. We know that when change is improperly navigated in organizations, those with less power are often disproportionately impacted.
We exist to create spaces where ALL individuals can thrive as their best selves and ultimately share their gifts with the world. We envision a world where people can leverage their unique strengths to foster equitable, inclusive cultures and drive transformation that ripples throughout communities.

Through expert facilitation, strategy development, and project leadership, we ensure that bold ideas turn into meaningful action—amplifying voices, aligning priorities, and building the conditions for sustainable transformation
Meet our Chief Catalyst

Christina L. Scott
Chief Catalyst
Christina grew up in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and loves nurturing the tomatoes, okra, and black-eyed peas in her Instagram-worthy garden. She founded Catalyzing Change LLC because she saw too many organizations struggling with the gap between their stated values and their daily realities—and she knew that with the right strategy, leadership, and culture, real transformation was possible. With a deep commitment to equity, strategy, and leadership, she sees herself and Catalyzing Change as conduits for the transformative change organizations need to thrive.

Christina has built her expertise across education, organization development, training, and public service, coaching and collaborating with executive leaders, teams, and organizations to improve performance, culture, and stakeholder value. Her career began as a Teach For America corps member, where she developed a deep appreciation for the power of self-awareness in leadership—acknowledging biases, privileges, and cultural perspectives while guiding others to do the same. She later expanded her impact, working at both local and federal government levels, applying her expertise to drive large-scale, systemic change.

As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Christina brings a structured yet adaptive approach to managing complex initiatives, ensuring alignment between strategic vision and operational execution. She holds a Master of Science in Organization Development (MSOD) from American University, a Master of Arts in Urban Education from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Fordham University—an academic foundation that sharpens her ability to foster meaningful change.

Beyond her work with Catalyzing Change, Christina serves as Director of Operations and a Board Member of The Ruby Ball Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting sickle cell communities and advocating for the patients who need it most. Based in Washington, DC, she remains deeply committed to advancing racial and social justice through her professional and philanthropic efforts. When not working, Christina finds joy in her yoga practice, gardening, and creating space for deep conversations that challenge the status quo.
